Description:
Elan Public Services requires an experienced Infrastructure Manager with a strong track record in supplier management to support a large government organisation. You will be responsible for managing the implementation of changes to LAN by suppliers, ensuring minimal disruption to the business, performance management and project management of small and medium-sized infrastructure projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with ITIL and BS15000, agreeing deliverables and working closely with the Service Management function to report on supplier performance. It is mandatory that you have a broad understanding of infrastructure and networking technologies (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, AD, Windows XP), with experience of both project management and service management principles gained from managing technical IT projects in complex, multi-supplier environments. Experience gained in the public sector, particularly central government, would be valuable.
