This is an exciting role for an experienced Engineering Manager to work in Europe s largest and most successful developer of space technology and is amongst the world s leading companies in this major global business. With over 5,000 employees, we design and manufacture satellite systems for a range of missions.The position requires management of a multi-disciplinary ground systems engineering team and also demands considerable interaction with external customers, co-contractors and sub-contractors. The position requires candidates with a background in satellite and mission control systems with the ability to develop and deliver strategic business objectives in parallel with a strong operational performance on existing programs. In order to deal with all aspects of the Ground Systems he/she shall have a good knowledge and experience in some or all of the following: design of satellite control systemsmanagement of subcontractors developing ground segment elementsdevelopment of software-intensive systemsintegration and test of ground-based systems,satellite operationsSuccessful candidates will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment.Please visit our website for more opportunities colbernlimited co uk
