With 4 decades experience in design, engineering, fabrication, construction and installation this company have a requirement for a Change Measurement Engineer / Quantity Surveyor to join them on a long term contract. Your responsibilities will include: ·Identify increases in the Scope of Contract versus the correct (or current) Scope of Work. ·Identify the sources of change through client instruction via letter, minutes of meetings or other written instruction. ·Detail and maintain records of the change. ·Prepare a cost impact of implementing change. ·Schedule impact of change. ·Prepare variation orders and submit. ·Develop variation orders and submit. ·Develop and maintain a current variation order summary register and monitor regularly. ·Prepare anticipated recovery of VO's as a forecast of revised final cost. ·Prepare subcontracts; perform duties related to administration of contracts. ·Provide at all times data in an efficient and accurate manner. ·Attendance and actively participate at meetings if required ·Ability to communicate effectively to achieve required information. ·Actively work well within a team and as an individual to achieve project and company targets. ·Comply at all times with company practices, policies and procedures. Knowledge of the following would be highly beneficial: Proven experience within the oil and gas industry Chartered Surveyor and/or a current Member of the Institute of Cost Engineers ACCA Part 1 and 2 or equivalent Microsoft Office Suite; Excel and Word This is a great role that will suit somebody looking for a long term and rewarding contract within a reputed organisation.
