Description: This is a great opportunity for an experienced Training Coordinator to work for a leading organisation based in Leeds .The Training Coordinator will be responsible for co-ordinating the delivery of a training activity package, including training support and mentoring, playing a key role in the candidate assessment process and deal with FE providers to ensure successful delivery. Apply for this role if you are experienced in the coordination of teaching / training provision within the FE sector. The Role: * Identifying suitable FE providers to deliver the training package* Contributing to the review/development of the training package model.* Negotiating delivery options and contracting with FE providers to deliver the training package.* Planning and co-ordinating the delivery of the training package, including training support and mentoring, by liaising with relevant stakeholders and FE providers to ensure the appropriate planning and delivery of the training package* Regularly liaising with local provider/subcontractors and mentors to ensure that progress and performance of the delivery of the training package is formally monitored, controlled, evaluated and reported against specific targets.* Assisting the Project Manager in co-ordinating and controlling the training package budget and collating contract claims* Working effectively with staff, partners and stakeholders to provide information and advice to applicants* * Co-ordinating the application process, advising contracted assessors, assessing application forms and match candidates with providers in line with the selection criteria developed for the project* Keeping up to date with development to the programmes and development on how to gain license to practice, by liaising with colleagues, government department & learning providers.* Contributing to the development and review of the project management processes, including project design, planning and control * Contributing to the promotion of the company's products and services Who we're looking for: We are looking for someone with experience in the coordinating of teaching / training provision within the FE sector. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) will excellent MS Office . You must possess the following skills knowledge and ability:* Ability to support and motivate others in a mentoring relationship * The organisational skills to manage contact with geographically spread candidates and stakeholders* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships and liaise effectively with colleagues, partners and stakeholders* Knowledge of teacher training policy developments, planning, delivery, assessmentLocation: Leeds city centre Benefits/Additional Information: An excellent benefits package applies to this role including a mobile, laptop, a great holiday allowance and other fantastic benefits.
