Our client is an eight-form entry community high school; successfully serving the educational needs of over 1,500 pupils aged 11-18, with 300 in the Sixth Form, with strong traditions rooted in the local community. They offer a full range of educational opportunities to students from a local community rich in social, cultural and linguistic diversity. The school boasts very good facilities with a huge amount of refurbishment taken place over the last few years and is also attached to a local leisure centre. The school is a Specialist College in the Performing Arts. They have excellent facilities, including a theatre, drama and dance studios, and state of the art music technology suites. Performance elements are being introduced to selected areas of the wider curriculum to stimulate students and help them achieve to their full potential. There are a wide variety of Dance, Drama and Music clubs and workshops taking place at lunchtime and after school, with opportunities to join at all levels.
