Description: This Global business is currently looking to strengthen its UK Marketing Team with the addition of a Marketing Planner/Merchandising Planner to assist in the creation of marketing plans and undertake sales and market place analysis, including key competitor analysis. Job Specification: The Marketing Planner/Merchandising Planner will form part of a team responsible for the creation, development and implementation of quarterly marketing plans to support the UK business. The role is heavily focused on analytical work weekly sales and profit reviews, preparing sales results for the quarter, financial tracking and reporting. Working closely with the category team, the Marketing Planner/Merchandising Planner will work on paginations and creative briefs for the product brochure and attend review meetings. This is a complex role with a lot of data analysis and adherence to strict deadlines. Requirements: In order to succeed, the Marketing Planner/Merchandising Planner will need to be highly organised and enjoy working to strict deadlines. A combination of marketing, analysis and planning skills will be required to succeed and strong communication skills are essential. The ability to work cross functionally with teams who all have conflicting priorities and the ability to identify and solve problems in an organised and efficient manner is a pre-requisite.
