SERVICE DESK ANALYST Location: Northampton, Northants Salary: c£19-23k dep on exp Ref: SF3842 Excellent IT support company based in Northampton requires an experienced service desk analyst to support one of its key clients. This is a 2nd line support role and as such you will need to have the necessary experience and be qualified to minimum MCP level, preferably MCSA / MCSE. As this is a 2nd line support role you will need to have the following knowledge and experience: Excellent Technical Helpdesk experience Thorough understanding of Windows XP Professional and Vista, Server 2003, Exchange 2003 and all variants of MS Office Excellent Customer Service experience Thorough understanding of all hardware support elements with Desktop, Laptop and Thin-client Understanding of networking technology and protocols MCP qualified minimum, preferably MCSA / MCSE Must be excellent communicator, problem solver, coach and decision maker You should be self motivated and able to work under pressure whilst giving attention to detail.Excellent opportunity for the right person with the right skills and experience.PLEASE NOTE: FOR JOBS BASED IN THE UK IT IS UNLAWFUL TO EMPLOY A PERSON WHO DOES NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO LIVE AND WORK IN THE UK.
