Description:
We are looking for a Functional Support Analyst who will report to the Project Manager and will assist with the implementation, roll-out and future development, support and promotion of the company’s new Document Management system. Job description Accountabilities/Responsibilities: • Assisting the Project Manager with day-to-day tasks • Work with project personnel to accomplish project start-up • First line support duties for the Document Management System; helpdesk call logging and visiting users to resolving issues on a 1:1 basis where necessary • Promotion of the DMS, including assisting in the creation of promotional material, organising and managing user awareness events, and assisting with design and delivery of user workshops/training sessions • To manage user administration, including new user creation, group membership • To create documentation of functional maintenance and support processes/best practices for the DMS • To create functional specifications when minor changes are required to the system – working closely with business units to understand issues and formulate requirements • Conduct testing of new functionality • Travel (UK) may be required Candidate specification It is essential that applicants have two years IT/Business experience, an IT degree or equivalent and an understanding of document and records management. It would also be desirable to have facilitation skills and experience of 1:1 training, previous experience of software support and experience of Open Text LiveLink Essential competencies/skills are customer focus/people skills, well developed communication skills (oral and written), team working and quick learner and ability to work in a fast paced environment. Desirable would be analytical, problem solving and work load prioritisation.
