Description:
Recroot UK are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our prestigious client, a global shipping company based at their Glasgow offices. Industry innovation and a progressive business approach have ensured the continued performance of this successful company and this role is available due to company expansion.The core tasks of this role will entail providing assistance and administration support to the Business Development team, updating internal group reports, maintaining the marketing database and preparing new business quotations. In addition, you will organise travel and accommodation, carry out market research, collect and collate business activities group wide for monthly reporting purposes, together with maintenance of sales pipelines, general administration duties and in house database development.The successful Candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of carrying out a similar role within a marketing environment, and it is vital that you have commercial acumen and thrive on managing your own workload without supervision, as you will report to the Marketing Executive who often travels internationally.You must be assertive with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and display full working knowledge of all Microsoft packages to advanced levels.
