Sales Consultant PositionsBased at Adlington, Cheshire Reporting to Sales ManagerHours of Work Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pmSalary OTE 45k in 1st yearDepartmentOur client has sales teams operating in London and at Head Office in Cheshire. The team focuses solely on generating new business through a combination of cold calling and incoming enquiries. The team sells all Our client's products and services, with a focus on the development of a tailored strategy that matches the clients' needs. The team is highly motivated through the ability to sell cutting edge products to a wide marketplace, and is very successful in this. As a result, Sales Consultants benefit from an extremely competitive commission structure. Main Purpose of JobSales Consultants are responsible for developing sales of our client's products and services through developing contacts with prospective customers, negotiating and closing sales. You will generate your own leads and communicate with the Sales Manager on a daily basis on the progress of current prospects. Knowledge of internet marketing techniques is not required as full industry and product training will be provided. You must however be computer literate, a competent internet user and be able to develop an adequate level of technical knowledge in order to carry out this role.Key Responsibilities· Sales of predetermined products and services to predominantly new customers · Achieve both personal and Company revenue targets · Carry out the entire sales cycle with prospective customers · Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business · Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed targets · Manage your own time in relation to current prospects and future leads · Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims · Respond to and follow up all sales enquiries using appropriate methods · Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements · Attend and present at customer meetings where required · Constantly update and develop your own knowledge and understanding of industry changes and our client's products · Develop your sales techniques to constantly improve performance Person Specification A proven track record in B2B sales Experience in dealing with customers, preferably over the telephone Skills Excellent skills in building and developing relationships at a variety of levels xAble to communicate effectively via written media Accomplished presentation skills Computer skills Must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Internet and email software Personal AttributesTenacious, driven and self motivated Confident in liaising with Clients on a daily basis Persistent and determined Excellent interpersonal skills Organised, with the ability to manage own time effectively without supervision Empathic communicator Able to work confidently under pressure and to tight deadlines and targets Articulate and of smart appearance Flexible and willing to learn
