Reporting to the Group Marketing Director and Managing Director for Central Europe and RoW, you will be responsible for supporting the regional business unit to directly, affect the bottom line.You will be expected to plan, lead, execute and evaluate a pan-regional marketing programme, offering strategic insight and innovative thinking as well as the professional execution of marketing initiatives. You will be a key member of the newly-created Group Marketing team and the CE&RoW Management team. You will also play an important role in day-to-day brand management issues in the region, helping maximise the impact of the brand and supporting efforts to drive a consistent corporate identity. The role will report to the Group Marketing Director and Managing Director, CE & RoW and be based in the respective region. The key stakeholders will be the management group of each region, who will set the annual budget for marketing, but the local marketing team will be expected to recommend suitable levels of investment In line with the annual budget planning process.Specifically you will· Plan and execute regional and local marketing initiatives to support business objectives.· Work with local management to set the level of annual marketing budget investment and KPI's.· Lead brand development for the region, in line with Group Marketing strategy.· Ensure the company's brand identity guidelines are adhered to across the region.· Oversee content and effectiveness of digital channels in the region.· Manage local agency relationships and third party suppliers to maximise investments and impact.· Monitor market developments and competitor activity to help keep ahead of the market.· Provide insight and business development ideas for extending client relationships.· Manage PR initiatives within the region, in line with overall Group PR strategy.You will bring the following experience to the role· Extensive experience of defining strategic marketing plans and managing/executing campaigns.· Expertise in briefing and managing external suppliers in the marketing services space.· Comfortable working in a matrix, global organisation, and able to influence multiple groups.· A clear, enthusiastic communicator, able to gain the buy-in of senior stakeholders.· An up-beat, self motivated and driven individual who enjoys operating in a sales-led culture.· Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.· Capable of making sound and timely business decisions with often ambiguous and conflicting data.· Sufficiently self-confident to take their own initiative to get things done.· Always looking outside the box for new solutions and creative opportunities.· French, German, Spanish and Italian advantageous
