We are seeking an ambitious and determined Recruitment Manager to compliment our team of Specialist Personal Advisers within the Pathways Programme in East London. This role is specifically to build a dedicated employer facing function by ensuring an attractive pipeline of suitable vacancies is achieved on a monthly basis. Central to meeting team targets, this position demands someone who is just as effective communicating with colleagues as they are selling their Members to employers – and job vacancies to Members• Do you feel you understand the needs of the client group and can market them applicably to employers?• Do you think you can build a lasting and successful ongoing relationship with employers and to establish a pipeline for our client group?• Can you take this a stage further and convince them that “unemployed” does not mean “unemployable”?• Do your excellent standards of professionalism guarantee repeat business?• Are you determined, resilient, and passionate enough to thrive in a competitive marketplace? If yes to the above then this unique opportunity in could be for you……..This is a target-focused position; and the work is both varied and challenging.Not a typical office job, as a successful Recruitment Manager you will be expected to:Win new and suitable business on a monthly basis Develop and maintain robust relationships with employers to guarantee you have a supply of suitable vacancies.Meet and exceed monthly team placement targets while maintaining a retention rate of 80%+.You will also have• Experience of a target-focused people business.• Empathy with / knowledge of traditional barriers to work faced by incapacited individuals• An existing network, or ability to network, in the local community and with employers of all sizes• Excellent time management and organisational skills• Confidence, persistence, patience; and the ability to enthuse and influence a diverse group of people towards a variety of job options.This is an exciting opportunity to help define how we take our service forward in this expanding business area.General requirements• Must have business to business sales experience in a fast-paced business environment (don't mention recruitment consultancy) and be able to achieve minimum targets on a monthly basis (bonus awarded on achievements)• Must have experience of selling to a diverse group of business types (on retained assignments or one-off deals)• Must be graduate or equivalent education• Must have extensive experience of working in a highly co-operative team sales environment - we don't want lone horsemen• Must be motivated by our social mission statement• Must be able to manage the expectations of employers as well as the client group• Must be able to liaise/communicate effectively with external groups (employers, partners) as well as internal groups (programme’s PAs)
