My client specialises in delivering successful, long-term, and high profile Welfare to Work programmes on behalf of central and local government. While being as commercially driven as any for profit organisation, their business makes a genuinely positive and worthwhile impact on local people and their communities. They are seeking a talented individual to join their successful team of Personal Advisers in East London. This role is specifically to engage, advise, up-skill, and secure employment for the long-term unemployed in the area. You will support people to gain jobs by coaching, building CVs, making applications and supporting them in-work. The role will also incorporate canvassing employers to gain vacancies for clients. This is a target-focused position; and the work is both varied and challenging; but the rewards - professional, personal, and financial - can be significant. • Experience of recruitment or another target-focused people business is preferable though not essential for the role. • Experience in a business to business sales environment is also advantageous. • Empathy with / knowledge of traditional barriers to work faced by the long-term unemployed • An existing network, or ability to network, in the local community and with employers of all sizes • Excellent time management and organisational skills • Confidence, persistence, patience; and the ability to enthuse and influence a diverse group of people towards a variety of job options. The role of PA also requires the achieving of personal targets in terms of numbers of people helped back into work. The ability to meet a number of strict and demanding targets is central to the performance of the role. You need to be an individual who thrives under pressure and have the ability to think on your feet. Due to the client group on this programme the successful candidate must speak Bangali.Location Docklands
