Description:
BASC is the UK’s largest field sports organisation with 127,000 members, including some 15,000 who are members of our 150 affiliated wildfowling clubs. This is a new post and provides a unique and exciting opportunity to join our team of professionals. We are looking for a qualified chartered surveyor, ideally with a couple of years’ post-qualification experience who is a regular participant in sporting shooting. The role will involve working closely with wildfowling clubs to identify opportunities for land purchase, leases and other arrangements that secure shooting opportunity. The role will also entail ensuring clubs have the appropriate financial structure and management plans in place, and helping to optimise income generation from such sources as grazing tenancies and agri-environment grants.The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team; interact with BASC members; and have excellent communication skills.
