Description: Our client is a ground breaking multi-national research and development project working within the field of environmentally benign energy. The project is currently in the process of constructing and developing the site in the South of France and as such they are now looking for Contract Officer(s) to facilitate this.Skills & Experience / Requirements / Job Description / etc.Our client is looking for a Contracts Officer and a Contracts Procurement Administrator for 6 - 12 month interim contracts in the South of France. You will be a flexible and hard working individual with a hands on approach to work and experience of working within both a direct and indirect environment (from service contracts to manufacturing (metals & cabling)). You will ideally be a CIPS qualified contracts person with operational experience capable of hitting the ground running and carrying out the whole tender process up to placing of contracts. You must be able work under your own steam. Ideally you will have a good working knowledge and understanding of specifications and be able to interpret blueprints and drawings and follow that through to tender stage.For the more senior role this could develop into reviewing and developing procurement plans and long-term strategies.
