Your key responsibility will be to establish and grow the trade customer base through working closely with the External Sales Representative and using creative and innovative approaches to generate new business. You will play a vital role within the team, aiming to continually achieve and exceed Branch and Company sales targets.You will feel excited to use your skills to identify and approach potential customers over the telephone and you will have the ability to quickly build up a friendly and professional rapport, whilst making appointments and generating leads for the External Sales Representative. With a commitment to providing excellent customer service, you will get involved in creating and producing local marketing material and other business administration. You will also have the opportunity to plan and design our trade kitchen products. Magnet Trade operate a UK wide network of branches providing local construction and building contractors with an extensive in-stock kitchen and joinery offer, along with a specialist made to measure service.Magnet offer an excellent Induction, Training and Development programme, with attractive salaries, team bonuses, company pension and continual support for all employees.Key Accountabilities:*To provide potential and existing customers with the highest level of service.*To deal with enquiries from customers in a courteous, professional and knowledgeable way, effectively communicate the products and services offered by the company.*To generate customer leads and grow the account base via telephone contact and mailing Branch promotional literature. *To participate as an effective and willing team member to achieve individual and team goals.*To undertake the responsibility of banking as and when necessary, following the procedures in the Branch policies and procedures manual.*To assist with any other reasonable request in order to fulfil the requirements of the business.*To provide the Sales Representative with qualified leads and appointments.*To liaise on a regular basis with the Rep and Branch Manager to develop the trade account base.Experience and Personal Characteristics:*Previous experience of obtaining new business, developing customer accounts and working in a targeted environment is desirable.*Excellent and confident telephone manner with strong communication skills with the ability to establish relationships very quickly.*Highly motivated person with strong planning and organisation skills.*Computer literate.*Previous design experience would be an advantage.To apply for this role please apply on Magnet's careers website by following this link or pasting it into your browser: http://www.magnetcareers.co.uk/JobApplication.aspx?postid=11778You must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
