Field Sales Executive (Woodworking Industry) to £44k, NW or SE Position: Field Sales Executive / Territory Manager Location: M62 Corridor (NW) or Guildford / Redhill (Surrey, Sussex SE) Salary: Basic 20-26k, OTE £44K+ Benefits: Car (Audi A3), Laptop, Mobile Phone. Already boasting the largest and most successful service team in the UK, our client is now building a machine sales capability and product range to complement the service, parts and educational needs of UK customers.It is the intention of our client to become the leading machine reseller in the UK over the next three years, and the introduction of the partner's high quality range of machines gives our client the credibility and quality of products to continue this growth. ROLE: They are now looking to recruit a Field Sales executive candidate to engage in client visits, 8 calls a day 50% cold 50 % warm. They have a good name in the industry so will not find it hard to get appointments. Looking for a entrepreneurial type that wants ownership of territory and is able to think strategically. They will be supported by an named internal sales administrator to process their orders and provide general administration support to them. RESPONSIBILITIES: The majority of your time will be spent attending confirmed meetings and dropping in on other potential clients within your designated territory. About half a day a week will be spent processing administration and updating the customer database with notes. ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: a) Knowledge of, or a background within the woodworking or metalworking industry. b) Excellent communication skills. c) Computer / internet literate (Microsoft Office) DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: a) Some sales experience (especially field sales experience) is desirable but is not essential as training and support will be provided.
