Are you looking for a new scientific role? Do you want to work in a team environment with excellent prospects and training?
Working with an international coatings company this is an excellent opportunity for someone with a good team attitude and a willingness to learn.
This quality control role is quite varied in terms of general QC (rheology/viscosity/specific gravity) as well as some analytical techniques such as GC and IR. You will also have the chance to spray panels for testing and learn huge amounts about the paints industry.
This is a very specialised company and there is chance for promotion as you become more adept at the skills you will learn in this role.
Candidates will
- have full colour vision,
- have a science qualification above GCSE and have spent time in a lab
- be keen to learn
- be willing to work some overtime (paid at time and a half)
- have a hands on attitude
- be good team players
- some lifting will be inf=volved so candidates must be physically fit
- be competent with word and excel applications
the interview will involve a colour blindness test and a numeracy test.
