Description: The role will involve:The Management of the Projects Total IS and Document Management SystemDevelopment and updating of the Project Document Management Plan through the whole life cycle of the projectWork closely with all project section heads to ensure the document control system is working as designedLiaison and interaction with our Client IS system and Client TeamManagement of the Projects information flow (upload and down loading of data) between the Project document control system and the Clients separate document control systemManagement of Project key personnel who use the systems and have ownership of key folders in the file structure to ensure the system is operating efficiently and effectively Produce reports from the Document control system as and when requiredThe management of the document controllers within the sectionKey skills:Must have at least 5 years experience of managing a document control system on a large complex projectA good understanding of Business Collaborator and how the document control system works The experience of setting up a folder and file structure on BCThe development and management of metadataExperience of working in a large team and interfacing with designers and Client side document managersConstruction or engineering background experience is essentialYou must have the right to work in the UK
