QUALITY MANAGEREdinburghUp to £45,000 plus car allowance and generousbenefits packageA subsidiary of a significant international Group, our client is a world leading manufacturer supplying a broad portfolio of products to a diverse and demanding customer base.Known for its extensive product range and reliability, the company prides itself in its ability to work closely with its customers, combining innovation with ‘real world’ thinking to produce quality custom-made materials that deliver the best possible results.This newly-created, high profile role will have responsibility for driving quality, cost and service standards across the business through the implementation of the latest performance improvement tools.Liaising with key stakeholders internally and interfacing directly with customers, the appointee will be responsible for further developing the company’s quality system and for raising capability levels site-wide through the deployment of best practice continuous improvement principles.Candidates, of degree calibre, will have proven experience gained in a similar role in a progressive, high volume manufacturing environment.Specific knowledge and evidence of having successfully applied modern continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, 6-Sigma, 5S, Gap Analysis and Kaizen is essential, and candidates must have proven coaching, development and facilitation skills.This is an excellent career opportunity, possibly leading to additional European exposure, and a competitive package including a £6,000 car allowance will be negotiated for the right high calibre candidate.
