They were founded in 1984 and have grown in both the scale and breadth of their operation and currently provide services to over 400 service users (residents) in more than 100 supported living projects and registered care homes in London, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire. They are now looking to recruit a Floating Assistant Team Manager to join their successful team.Responsibilities will include:To assist the Team Manager to supervise, manage and co-ordinate the work of the staff team ensuring that the Service's quality standards are maintained and developed. You may be given additional management responsibilities and expected to 'act up' in the absence of the Team ManagerTo ensure the service user(s) you support lead as independent and fulfilling lives as possible. You may be required to support more than one person with a learning disability are you are expected to provide support as required to all the service users that you work with.Suitable candidates must possess: To have a relevant qualification in the field of health and social care at NVQ Level III (or equivalent).At least 1 year's experience, either paid or voluntary, of supporting people with learning disabilities.To be creative and innovativeTo have an awareness of different forms of communication. A current full manual car driving licenceBenefitsBasic Pay £17,455 p.a.
